Had a couple issues at first that was quickly addressed by management. Response time was amazing. Would recommend staying here.
Much cheaper and better option than Abrahams hall. The check in is inside of Abrahams hall so insure you go there prior to arriving at this location. The rooms are clean and smell alright. It's a bit older but it works well, most rooms have a kitchenette. Bathrooms are well taken care of. The lobby is simple and easy to navigate. There's no hot breakfast here so you'll have to travel across to Abrahams hall... Again. Only down side to the rooms are the beds, they are practically just a plank of wood with 0 squish. The rooms have no sound proofing you can hear everything from surrounding rooms.
For the the price this is a 10/10 room was clean, cute, and nice sized it’s the size of my room at home love. I’m adopting a cat and this is the best way to introduce him to my dog I was sick in the walls are pretty thin. You can hear what’s going on next-door, so I feel bad for my neighbors cause I was coughing all night. I didn’t like that you had to go to a whole Nother building just to get your room key but I saw on the site that there was a gym and there’s no gym
It's a little pricey for the stay and for service members. Discounts are only offered to veterans, not those currently serving. We were on a road trip and wanted to stop and see the Infantry Museum. The area of Columbus near the base is not the nicest place, so we felt better staying on base as it was just me and my daughter. But over all it was clean and convenient for the purpose of our trip and we did enjoy having the little kitchenette.
We stayed 2 nights at Gavin and 1 night at Abrams. Gavin is very affordable. The building is quite old and indeed smells like it. The furniture is old, especially the couch, which was very worn. However, the price makes up for it. You have to check in and check out at the Abram hall.
